Better Search Replace plugin is grabbing a custom field and replacing all data with that field value

We've run into an odd issue with a site where certain custom fields are getting completely overwritten with the same value pulled from one of the fields, and unrelated to the search and replace text. The issue is reproducible on the live, and dev copy of the website where we're seeing this issue, and on the dev copy we've recreated the issue with just the Better Search Replace plugin active and using a freshly installed copy of the 2025 theme.
Here is a video of the issue happening on the dev site that initially made after determining that the Better Search Replace plugin was the cause:
Here is a video I made today after restoring the site and disabling all of the plugins except for Better Search Replace, and running the 2025 theme:
I can provide access to the dev install for troubleshooting and to run the search and replace to see the issue happening and such.

Bartosz Kmiecik Thanks Bartosz. I had reached out to one of our contacts at WPEngine and they had sent me here. I'll use the plugin support page on the wordpress.org repository in the future.
Please let me know if the dev team wants access to the site where this is reproducible.

Hi Raymond Moul,
My name’s Ferbie and I’m part of WP Migrate Support team. According to our dev team, they've tried to access your site through WP Engine backend, but for some reason the user does not have the correct credentials.
Would it be possible to share the email used in creating "abcdstudy21dev.wpenginepowered.com" dev site?
Thank you.

Ferbie Leano I created the dev install from my wpengine account and then imported a copy of the client's site into it. My email is raymond@tinyfrog.com but I don't have an account on the install under that email. There is a bitbucket@wpengine.com account on the install, and I can add a different user if you want to provide an email to use for the account.

Please use priority-wpmdb@deliciousbrains.com to create the user, thank you.
