Code deployments via GitPush sometimes take much longer than it feels like they should. From the progress messages in the terminal the process tends to hang multiple times, usually at the beginning or ending of phases. (I have one that seems to be stuck after "checking submodules" right now.)

At first I thought that dev and staging environment might be more susceptible but that's evidentiy not the case. It's a little unsettling to have a production deployment hung up for no apparent reason, with no expectation of how long it'll take and no idea what might be up in the air on the site while it's running.
